It’s all about showing off my body and all in the name of breaking my hibernation and leaving the house like a real woman who has her own life together (but mostly wants to be comfortable). I’m sorry for all of you who have high-level corporate jobs or go to glamorous parties, I swear I don’t give you any fashion inspiration — but if you like to dress casually, practically, and stay comfortable, I’ve got you covered with these spring outfits (Wait, did you see last week’s sweaters?? Check them out, too). We’re not in full spring mode, so these aren’t wildly floral or summery yet. But most people feel appropriately transfixed by taking off the jacket (or having too much fun) in this beach season.
these pants Looks boring, but since I bought them (2 weeks ago) I’ve worn them 6 times. They’re so light and comfortable and easy to wear with a stripe or denim shirt, and while I haven’t washed them yet (don’t judge), they seem to be such high quality that they won’t turn into a wrinkled mess from the dryer. They sit a little low (not high-rise), aren’t tight, aren’t cropped, look good with blue… all the things I want in a pant. alternative striped sweatshirt Is solid, looks great with athleisure, or just as a solid basic. It’s boxy and wide, so unless you want an extremely large size, keep it small. Oh, and those shoes were small and tight (and I didn’t like the color of my skin), so I returned them. to get instead of this -They’re super cute, super versatile, and have cushioning, so 10/10 comfort (I’m wearing them in the black/white sweater shot below).

here i wore same pants But styled them more effortlessly. i bought it t-shirt In three colors, for your information. This is perfect for those of us who don’t want a super tight t-shirt, but want a nice thin fabric and cut that is easy to tuck 1/2. It’s casual and just right. I’m crazy about it too that burgundy jelly And can’t believe the versions of Roe are $600. Hahaha…for plastic sandals…beaded choker It’s from H&M, and I bought it in three colors, but one is already broken, so you get what you pay for.

I’m happy to tell you that I searched and found a great knock-off The Great’s famous sweatsuit. The Great introduced a throwback, throwback, worn-out 70s sweatsuit that’s strangely cute (they’re designed by moms and tried on real bodies). And while I rarely want to support an obvious scam, this is less about stealing a design or art and more about another company dialing up that ’70s athletic vibe that The Great was also going for.

It was very difficult to find the right size (and there were no local gaps, so I had to order three different times on the Internet). sweatshirt Too big, so I’m wearing an XXS (but an XS fits about the same). The small was also good because it was a little shredded, BTW, but I sized down. for pantsI ultimately settled on the XS and XS small, which is my favorite. Now, what I had to do (which is annoying) was cut the elastic on the inside of the waistband because it was too tight and cut it out. The draw string works just fine, but be aware that they probably haven’t tested it on real people, and the elastic is too strong to be comfortable. So I had to hack it. Otherwise, they are perfect (and I don’t think it bothers other people as much, I think I have some sensory issues and that may actually be the case) feel stiffness, and it becomes unbearable). That washed navy/almost black is great, and I like the cropped length that reaches just above my ankle, so it looks a little cinched in a good way. socks Are from H&M and are excellent and cheap. Also, shout out to matching my dog’s hair color, hahaha. Should I bring a photo of it to my next inspection appointment??

how cute they are these pajama pants??!! I purchased these for our team retreat in hopes that I could really impress my crew with my nightly fit. I wear a small one, and it doesn’t bite at all. They have these lovely pleats that make it really voluminous. Can you wear these outside the house? Sure, with white menswear button downs, maybe or even my navy zipper hoodie.

olive henley It’s a sweatshirt that’s easy to fit, comes in cream color and has nice detailing. I’m wearing an XS, and it’s great (note I’m doing the Olsen hair tuck thing that I think is back??!!).

These Are the Amazing Mother Jeans I Can’t Stop Talking About or Wearing a silk blouse In a great color palette (burgundy and rose) and Really Affordable Brown 1/2 Trench.

shirt Wears curtains really well, so it would look great under a crewneck sweater or cardigan. that mule Making a mule!!

Now, again, I’m not into the idea of knockoffs, but this dress Pretty cool for $70 and it sure looks like Ulla Johnson and Doane had a baby. It comes with a blue slip at the bottom and drapes and falls really well. It’s perfect for spring, church, weddings, summer and holidays. Dress him up or down. Heels or sandals.

I hope they make it in more colors. You can also tie a sweater around your waist and shoulders, add a shell necklace, wear some flip flops (I’m literally just naming the things you can do now…).

i’m excited to get out these cream barrels. I have a smaller size in these and I always feel good in them. top It’s similar to my balloon blouse I bought in the fall, but in dark navy and cream stripes (and a stiffer material). i like it that jelly Can only look like shoes, not like beach sandals.

i wasted money this top Farm by Rio, which is something I do before spring break. They simply retain the colors, patterns and whatever cotton they use and always remain without wrinkles even after washing. Super lightweight but long sleeve, so it’s perfect for holiday dinners.

Admittedly, this is not a good outfit. But it was the end of the day, and I really wanted to show you all these elements, but not all at once. mule There are LL Beans for free people, and they are absolutely heavenly to wear. Very comfortable, they look cute with socks. Birkenstocks are giving but more comfortable (I think I’m the only person who doesn’t find Birks comfortable). shorts Are amazing, but the size is small (these are too big on me) with big paint splatters and holes that will probably prompt your father-in-law to ask if you need to borrow money to buy real clothes (every time!). Jess has these too, and she wore them in the no-splash option in Palm Springs.

again, same gap zippy I’ve worn it before (very cute under the jacket too, BTW, with the hood out) and striped shirt Same as black/white, but in brown and cream. All solid staples, and it’s not the worst outfit ever, but it feels a little bumpy, shall we say:)
Hopefully these outfits have got you excited to get out of the house (or stay at home in style), and given you some useful inspiration. xx
