Revealed day is my favorite day. While the magazine (better homes and gardens) are about to hit the newsstands (to disclose four of my favorite rooms in my brother’s house that you haven’t seen yet), this room was not done on time for shooting, so I really meet to reveal it first (and hope you will be excited for the rest soon). You see, we had a sectional a few months ago, which was a sample of Bennett, which was not ready for me to approve of the Texas factory, so I had to wait to approve it in Portland. Then once I sat on it, I knew that it would have to be ticked. So we worked it again to improve it, got new, and finally finished styling this comfortable family room for our brother and his family. This room is a comfortable green cave, proves that the green can be so hot when mixed with hot tones. Let me prove this …
Our U-shaped sectional

Introduction My first U-shaped sectionalAnd this is a very good. I am equally obsessed and proud. It is a one-and-made piece of furniture, which is not easy to shorn in a room, for which you can already have other pieces, but if you are designed or rethinking with scratches, then it is a great way to feel a TV/family room simple and yet so comfortable. In addition, you are able to sit so many people. We originally designed this room with Cube Velvet Sectional, but when I designed the sectional again, they did not have those clothes in the stock, so they did it in one of the other clothes we were carrying in “Evergreen”, which is a green linen mixture (really, really, really, when I ship it “. I really feel that this clothes is better for their family, forgiving a little more with dog hair, because it has more thread variation. And again, for a linen mixture, it is super soft and throne (not rigid at all).
Its ratio is so generous, as you can see – my brother is a big boy! We really designed the original Bennett to ensure that the depth of the middle seat was sufficient so that no one would get shafts. The seats are cushions, but are not sloppy (medium plush), and the back cushion is really easy to sink against it, but is excluded from a foam combination, so they will not just go down and will be distorted. Weapons are wide and solid – it just looks so good when you flop in any of these seats. You feel comfortable and supported (it’s not that we want to outside of most people/things in our life ??). I can add it to the line as just a chase sectional, because I know that many people may not have the right room for a giant gentleman.

This room was inspired by our family room – dark, tanwala, comfortable, and vested (you can close the door for dirt). We painted it Evergreen fog by Sherwin-VilliamsWhich is really incredible – so comfortable in dark and extremely soft and beautiful with lots of natural light. I became obsessed with this color after being depicted here-I wanted everyone to finish it and experience it (warning: With only a small window in Bryan’s small writing office, whatever the reason seemed to be sad for the reason, so you still have to take a sample of it!) Of course, OG sofa means that we all work well in green color.

We pronounced green with this super warm dark burgundy which is almost objrin, and there are many hits of ocher and mustard, which raise on tones of tone Wooden floorDoors, and built-in. I am very dangerous with this color palette – it is just so hot and balanced, and looks overall fabulous throughout the house.

I like it Marine Pulse The piece made it at such a prominent place in his house. When we disclosed this, we had it in their guest room, but no one saw it, and it clearly works even better here. I love it on the allmodern piece that adds a good, dark, dark wood tone (which works with tables/chairs in the opposite corner).
Their children (7 and 10) still play something on the floor and craft in the corner, but it has a lot of space and it is incredibly large sectional to watch TV. They wanted two chudal corners (who fit an adult and a child), and are large and really comfortable in proportion to which too sit in the middle.

That large window is western-up, so it gets very sunny in the afternoon (and in the evening) in the afternoon, so we knew that we would need a blackout curtain. We worked together Decoration Again, showing motorized Roman colors on the huge window and motorized roman colors on the flaanking windows. We chose this dark green, almost black, which we loved with all the hits of the wall and black in the room.
Note that curtains are hung high and wide, making the room look taller and larger, even if they are dark. Now, a warning – we really wanted dark curtains here, but we were warned that the sun could fade the edges. We chose a linen poly blend for this reason, but for years, there is still a chance that these dark curtains can only fade on the edges.

Focus on sectional Samsung Frame TV (An 85 ″ for the scale), and we had these simple cabinets designed and installed below it (and a dark green painted). There is still enough space to walk and play in front of the couch. The cabinet consists of their media, board games, crafting/toy cans and drawing.

It is dark green Foxhall Green From Sherwin-Villiums, and it still placed the room tonal, but in a non-distressed manner and added contrast. Handle Etsy is stained with black wood.
Game/Homework Table

We wanted to make this small corner where they could play art and craft, color, a game, etc. This chess set On their dining table, so we styled it here, which looks very terrible (if not showed, is not worthy). We ordered 8 chairs for their dining table, when they have people above people, but they only need 6, so they put it in two here, and They look great,

Velvet bench clothes From the pool, and it is just so beautiful and soft with texture and a subtle pattern. I got three paintings Jhalar (A local artist and producer who I am a great fan – he has our coffee tables, corbels, and big pencils and paintbruses that we love). They feel vintage, moody, and are color-wise, they are perfect here.
We balanced three pictures This beautiful mirror From the anthropology that really reflects the light well and rounds the vignet. Again, this dark -colored wood hit was actually drawn into the rich dark red tones of clothing and very deep.
“Earlier” and slider time after time!
The room was really invited, layered, comfortable, warm and still design-aged. I personally love a deep TV/family room, especially if it is one that can be closed (not open to the rest of the house). When you walk it just looks like your experience, and yet the color and style matches the house (hot contemporary). I hope you like it!
