Y’Al. 10-pages have spread in October in my brother’s river house Better houses and gardens Issue!!! I was nervous to take it, TBH. Here is described how it works (at least how I do it). I shoot these projects and make a large old pitch deck to send the magazine that I think is the best fit. Sometimes I send them scouting shots before shooting to guarantee them home, but it is one I have sent them a large deck of every room, which has been shot and all rooms have been shot, but unpounted (I know that magazines want unique materials that are not yet on the Internet, so I always hold the best rooms). Do they think it’s right fit (usually months ago), we do an interview where I am honest, accurately, and ideally to represent the project with an interesting angle.
The author, Jodi Garlock and Editor Kathy shouts a huge shout – they are such professionals and I knew that I was in good hands (but still, I was nervous !!). Months later, I try to remember the phone interview in my head – have I said good things about my brother’s family? Did I give adequate credit to Max and Anne? Did the author said that the credit is? Will some brands get love in print and not others? Will anything be taken out of reference ?? With such journalism, whatever you are printed does not get any approval, and when they want everyone to be happy (they are not in the business of a bench piece or a slam article, obviously), do not know that you or the project will not be represented until you choose it on the grocery store, it is a little scary. I’m just happy how it came out (thanks!), And we are clearly showing you the rest of the house soon, but I really love you to take and give it to you guys Better houses and gardens We do something before doing some love. I subscribe to the magazine (I take the membership of most shelter mags, TBH) and their art direction, their comfortable vibes, acceptable homes, cooking and life tips. Ever since Stephen or took over in 2015, and now Oma Blaise Ford, I think it’s great.
My talented friend and photographer, Cateline Green thanks a lot for BH&G, who did such incredible work with my team (Greatchen and Marley!), For weeks of styling and production weeks to make photography, and again, the author, to re -create Jodi Garlock. Thanks to Oh and my brother and his family to expose my life on the Internet for four years – I know that this kind of exposure can bring a lot of vulnerability that they did not ask necessary, so I want to give you a public and my team used my home as his design, which to show our design in the last four years. This is a real victory for this project that makes us all very grateful and proud of being here. So go buy it !!! Fall Team Retreat!
Last week, I took the team to Manzanita, or, to live The most beautiful beach edge airbnb (designed by Max humphreeWe did all the work. We worked for about 4 hours every day (gift guide, 2026 content, partnership strategy, new social media ideas, etc.) and then the second half of the day.
We went to the cannon beach, ate the pelican wine in a furnace, and went around.
The following year we discovered Nehlem Bay after a big idea -after making/reconstructing this site. Both are super attractive small towns (think of Lucy Score Romance Novels).
The house was so dreamy and comfortable (and thoughts were so crazy), so we finished staying at night instead of going out for dinner (as well as many places are closed in the middle of the middle week). The third night, we did 6 hours of vision boarding (we brought 150 old magazines) and watched reality TVs. It was incredibly fun and was a great way to walk out, while listening to music, drinking something, and holding our lives.
We all have a birthday within 6 weeks of each other, and I am not the best in remembering the actual presentations on time (so I do gift cards). This time, two months ago, I reached one of my favorite local artists, JhalarAnd asked him if I could do 6 pieces of art for him. I know from experience that the great original contemporary art is extremely expensive, and often impossible to buy for myself, so I personally think that it is a special gift to achieve (and therefore give). I did not see them before opening them (I knew the general collage vibe), so it was a real unveiling, one -by -one, with a very joyful freakout 🙂
A lot of nervousness, love, and gratitude that we get together, you do together with a lot of thanks to readers to read and read, know that this team is so red, we care about what we do, we do it for whom we do, and always try to do it better, and make a balance of budgets.
