About mango tea
Mango iced tea or simply mango tea, is quite popular in cafes, but it is very simple and easy to make it at home honestly. Black tea is powered by the base which is later cooled and mixed with mango pulp. The taste is balanced, not excessively sweet and the light bitterness of tea balances the taste of fruits well.
Mango is a great combination of Mango puree with iced tea puree. This drink is very refreshed in summer after the exhaust day especially. I love Iced Lemon Tea And now it is going to my favorite too.
Ripe mangoes without fiber are best for this recipe because they give smooth textures and bright colors. Alphonso works very well, but any sweet variety is fine. By adding lemon juice, giving small tangs tastes which refreshes the drink. The taste is a little stronger than fruits, tangi and tea.
Many small changes are also possible. Some people change the sugar with honey, some leave the sugar if the mango is very sweet. To give more freshness, I like to add mint leaves while chilling. You can also adjust the thickness by changing the volume of the pulp, keeping it thin or thick how you like.
Iced T is a fresh drink for a warm summer day and if you are a common lover then this iced mango tea is a great option. You can make tea decoction in advance for a few days and store in the fridge. Make puree or make lemon tea and serve while serving time.

Common tea content
- Mango – I have used ripe mango pulp, it gives sweet taste and good fruit taste. Alphonso is good, but you can use any mangoes even without fiber.
- Tea powder – I used normal black tea powder, powdered light gives the taste of soft tea. You can use tea bags even if you want.
- Sugar – I added a little sugar to balance the taste of tea. If the mango is already sweet then you can also leave or use honey.
- Lemon – I just squeeze the small amount, it gives light tang and fresh taste. You can also add slices of thin lemon for garnish.
