A few weeks ago, Caitlin wrote a post called “The Internet Forced Me to Buy This – 12 Honest Reviews” and you all loved it (us too!). I mean, in the year 2025, I think most of us have made a quick purchase of a “viral” Internet product or general recommendation. Hey, we are in the same world too! Of course, some are wonderful and some, disappointing to say the least. So since Caitlin’s post was so great, the rest of the team thought we could present our own viral product reviews – wins and losses too – for the world to see. Let’s jump right in.

    Manucurist Starter Kit Gift Set

I hate getting my nails done (I like a pedi but not a mani) and yet I have found myself many times with embarrassingly dirty nails the night before a big “hand heavy” shoot or event (I work with my hands and type 200 words a minute – I have short fingers that do the hard work!). So my marketing is done This home gel kitIt seemed easy and like I could check a box myself. The process is extremely intuitive (you only have to press one button depending on the coat you’re working on), but sadly I can’t recommend it as the gels usually wear off within 2 days. The product isn’t there yet (and it was expensive, so I’m disappointed). The joke’s on me!

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 , Medicube Salmon DNA PDRN Pink One Day Serum

    collagen jelly cream

Kelly Oxford absolutely influenced me to buy some beauty essentials that I now love. in his paid newsletter permanent retrograde, She gave 5 recommendations for Korean beauty products that she swears by (and now I’m seeing everywhere). Yes, we’re talking about salmon and shrimp DNA, and sperm (or so they say). I’m pretty sure I don’t know when to use these, like in what order (they’re all by Medicube, and I’m nervous I’m overdoing it), but my skin is so plump and glowy it’s driving me crazy. I’m going through these way too fast (but y’all, it ain’t expensive!!). I just need to do more research on which to use in which order. I’ve bought toner pad (after washing), but what exactly is shine/thick this capsule (more expensive because you use one every day), and this prisonWhich feels very good. I don’t have any of those moisturizers, so I’m not sure what to put on top (I’m scared of mixing active ingredients). So any suggestions are welcome (I’m considering it right now, but I don’t feel good about it). In the meantime, I’m super excited about the brand and diving into Korean beauty products this device From Brian on my Christmas list (he’ll say why it’s so expensive, but then, out of desperation for the need to actually get me something I want, he’ll cave and buy it.)

    Flora Bars

The founder of Jeni’s Ice Cream has moved to fiber??? It seems the protein craze has finally cooled off a bit in favor of a new panic…fiber (which, like protein, everyone is worried we can’t possibly get enough of) so I bought these new bars, floraNow, do I like them? Sure! But I’m such a habitual coupler that it’s hard to know what’s really working in the moment. (I’m also taking a lot of supplements and herbs to reduce inflammation in my heart). I still eat a decent amount of protein, but I’m convinced that this bar is a good option for when I don’t have time to get fiber. Idea?

    Redken All-Soft Shampoo and Conditioner

it was a tiktok recommendation I came across this while researching the best shampoo/conditioner for thin, dry hair. pass. Should have tried a sample first, oops :/ Maybe it would be better for straight hair, but it totally messed up my wavy/curly hair – every time I used it, my hair looked like I got an electric shock and they were incredibly dry and brittle, even with a ton of leave-in conditioner. Not worth the price! i like Amika For a luxurious shampoo/conditioner, or just good old native To the drugstore!

    citrus tea perfume

Dossier Perfume I always felt like it was one of those brands that you get Instagram ads for all the time, and it feels like a scam. But after falling in love with the Le Labo sample, when I learned that a full bottle would cost me $240, I did a little research and decided to give Dossier a try. Most of their scents are based on existing “designer” perfumes, so if you like something, definitely check if they have any duplicates. At only $49, what i got smells exactly the same Le Labo FragranceAnd I’ve actually received more compliments for it than any other fragrance I’ve used so far. Now, it may not be the highest quality (in fact a $240 perfume lasts longer than a $49 perfume), but it does the job at a reasonable price. I haven’t tried any of them, but I’m definitely interested.

    Palmers Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil

There’s one beauty influencer on TikTok that everyone worships. his name is nina poolAnd she recommends all kinds of beauty and skin care “dupes” that are notorious for not being as good as they claim. he influenced me to buy Palmers Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil (Which he single-handedly sold out for a few weeks). Honestly, I love this cleanser and will keep using it as long as it works well for me. I plan to restock the next time I go out, which will be soon. It’s great for sebaceous glands (mostly on your nose and chin), but I really like using it everywhere else. It feels very soft and luxurious. It takes off all my makeup in seconds and leaves my skin feeling just the way I want it. Internet wins!

    rechargeable light bulb

Now for my loser. I took to the internet some time ago to find a way to make it This hard-wired sconce Work more like a plug-in. I considered re-linking it to make it one and found some conversion kit Probably I should have bought this instead of the “internet hack” I went with; These rechargeable light bulbsThey certainly looked great – required no wires to work, could be screwed into any lamp, and were easily popped out to recharge as the little plastic LED bulb detaches from the socket, attached by a magnet. Well, I never bother to charge them, so they never turn on when I want them to (the lights work after charging, I should have just known that wouldn’t work). But I came home to one of them on the floor the other day. Whatever it was, because the light bulb is not made of glass and is not broken. Great. But the adhesive holding the magnet in place came out, and so did the bulb. I could probably fix it, but I don’t want to do that. It seemed like a good idea, but I never used them, only did it once and then it broke. So I think I’ll buy the plug-in kit. Or just use a different lamp.

    pajama set (top , floor,

Okay, so I talked about these in a recent link up post, but I really love them! This was probably one of the quicker “add to cart” moments I’ve had in a minute. I was on TikTok, I saw a girl’s ad these pjAnd I just knew they would be amazing. This time I was right, and the fabric is heaven. As I said in the post, “I wear shorts Around my waist, and I would say they fit true to size. However, if you want a little more room or want to wear them less, consider going up a size. And what’s cool is that they’re pretty affordable at $18 and $19. I am very eager to buy pants For cold weather. Thankfully, some things are still there!

Allies of Skin Multi Peptides and GF (Growth Factor) Advanced Lifting Serum

And then some things are not cheap…like this serum Now I can’t give it up but I’m a little ashamed to admit that I use it because of the price. Here’s the story. I saw a video (which I couldn’t find!) in which a beauty editor asked two dermatologists at a conference if they recommended a facelift in her 40s because of loose skin after losing weight. They both immediately said, “Don’t do that,” and then one actually recommended this serum because of the incredible clinical results. The other skin immediately agreed with that suggestion. Now, I want to be clear that I was in no way considering a facelift, but as I approach 40, naturally, my face is changing, as it should. But I won’t deny that there aren’t any areas on my face where I wouldn’t mind being waxed for a longer period of time. So I’ve been using it since June, and I’m really happy with the state my skin is in. Like any skin care, consistency is key, so I’m keeping my skin happy with this serum right now. And after looking at two bottles to make sure I really liked it, I signed up for a membership, which costs at least $30. So what I will say is that I like it, but definitely do your research, see what works for your skin, but it’s a pretty good chunk of cash.

    light blue lace up shoes

You’re seeing what was supposed to happen my birthday shoesI kept looking at them on Instagram and finally decided I wanted to wear them to my birthday dinner. Well…they looked torn. I was so sad because I was still able to try them and I loved them. I’m exchanging them and even shrinking them down to a half size if you like them and they’re the middle size. So was it a win/failure?

    sunglasses

This was half a failure. I also kept getting ads for this these sunglasses And decided, why not?! They weren’t very expensive ($49), and I wanted to try a new size. You know, live a little! Well, the quality was absolutely good, but whenever I tried them on, they looked too narrow for my face. Or like the eyes were too close to each other? I mean, it’s a gamble buying sunglasses online, right? So I have nothing against the brand, but I wish they had a wider pull 🙂

    wrap gel kit

I found an ad for this This Wrap Gel KitAnd wow, I love them. Here’s my use case: If I go to get a gel manicure, I absolutely hate it when one of my nails breaks, so I get some red paint and I color-match it at the nail salon. I regularly get gel manicures and then when it falls off, I can replace it with the Sassy scent – this lasts my manicure for a full 3 weeks!! I also linked I’m a big fan of dazzle dry – At the moment I’m looking for homemade nail solutions (specifically for pedicures), but these are great for manicures because they are thick like gel and last a week or more 🙂

    Original Sculptseam® Leggings

I “got marketing for”Leggings That Make Your Butt Look Amazing,” so I obviously bought them. They’re actually some of my favorites to wear because a.) there are no seams in the front b.) they’re soft as butter and c.) they actually make the booty look nice unlike some of the Alo or Lulu leggings I have (which I still wear all the time – I’ve just noticed that the seams can sometimes be unflattering compared to the Paragon leggings). Definitely recommend trying them. Are!

That’s all for us! Do you have any viral products that you’ve purchased and loved (or hated)? lets chat!

I love you, it means it.
