happy Sunday everyone! We hope everyone gets some time to spend with their family and friends, and that everything goes 100% smoothly πŸ™‚ While making sure we’re keeping you updated on all the best Black Friday sales (big thanks to Caitlin for that), we were very grateful for that little bit of time. Q4 is really no joke, ha. But don’t worry, we haven’t really stopped working and have a special post for you tomorrow. Until then, here are this week’s links…

This week’s home tour Happy, modern, fresh, with a heavy dose of charming eccentricity! It’s so fun to see the creativity of this place. Go check it out!

From Emily: True crime podcasts (but not too scary) I binged. Monica Padman(K) chair specialist fame) created this wild podcast, beth is deadWhich was discovered after her favorite podcasters (from Andy and Elizabeth) Nobody’s listening, right?) suddenly stopped publication. Eight years later, he discovered the reason, which was actually a disturbing parasocial relationship gone awry. I paid to join Patreon so I could enjoy the whole thing (I had to find out what happened), but there are 5 episodes left and 5 more you can listen to for free wherever you get your podcasts. I absolutely loved it. It has ups and downs and endings, well, I don’t want to give up on it, but you feel better than you thought. If you’re driving or flying or need to take a long trip during Thanksgiving break, don’t binge beth is dead,

From Arlin: With the exception of the Hoka running shoes I bought a few years ago (and still use), I really try not to spend more than $60 or $70 on sneakers. I always see influencers sharing ridiculously beautiful sneakers, but I turn away as soon as I see the price is three numbers behind a dollar sign. No. It’s one thing if I’m buying true performance sneakers for running or tennis, etc., but I mostly stick to the fashion versions. That’s why I was so thrilled when I met him These red Nike Cortez for around $58They’re lightweight, comfortable for hours of walking, and they get lots of compliments. Not to mention, they’ve seriously jazzed up my predominantly black, navy and burgundy wardrobe.

From Jess: I don’t know about you all, but I was obsessed with the ROZ haircare line being heavily advertised. And since bleaching my overgrown roots a month ago, my hair feels like it’s lost the health I’ve been working toward for the past year. So I thought, why not, and so far I love my hair. I had pre bath oil, shampooAnd conditionerMy hair feels very soft and smells good too, I’m going to get them once the ones I already have run out Milk Hydrating Leave-in Conditioner Hair SerumOn their site, they have 2 week “try before you buy” optionOr if you want those Sephora points, They also follow their line,

From Mallory: Last weekend I found the best sample on sale and I got the most beautiful wool pants – M first introduced me to them trovata A few years ago, and I’ve always loved their pieces (it’s a very small brand, the person who worked there said there were only 7 people in the entire company!!). The quality of their products is really impressive, so when I went to their store where they were having a massive sample sale, I knew I had to pick up some stuff – like these nice pantsThere are plenty of sales still happening online (or if you live close to Newport Beach, their flagship store was right here!) Definitely check it out – these pieces would also make great gifts!

From Gretchen: I am in desperate need of a new vacuum and have been considering my options for some time. My parents were coming to stay with me for the holidays, so I needed to take the risk and eventually buy one so I could chase away the dust bunnies before facing family judgment. All the vacuums I previously owned were cordless, and for various reasons (battery strength, sucking ability, and the constant need to free my long hair from the roller mechanism), I was never very happy with any of the ones I bought (admittedly, they were cheaper and less researched options). So I took to the Internet to find a corded option that was easier to operate (like my previous cordless vac) in hopes that it would be more reliable. And what I’ve found has been amazing so far! it is Shark Detect Ultralight Corded Stick VacuumUnfortunately, I can’t give you a review for months of use, but the few times I’ve used it, I’ve already fallen in love with it! It has the size, shape, and bagless features of the cordless machines that came before, but it plugs in, meaning I never have to worry about running out of battery, Plus, the cord is long enough to reach most spots in my apartment without needing to plug in again, The main reason I own it is that it has an automatic hair removal feature, which has been true so farβ€”none of my long, loose hairs have a chance to get stuck on the roller, I also like that it only has two simple suction modes – hardwood or carpet – and comes with several attachments, It glides on very easily, is not heavy, and can be broken down for handheld use with a long stick or standard push-along, The price tag was perfect (I bought it on Amazon two weeks ago for less than $200, but the annoying thing is that it looks like they raised the price, But in fact, it’s on sale on Shark’s website for even less than the price I paid for the BF sale), It has a nice “dust light” so you can see exactly what dirt needs to be sucked up and if it’s working (it does), I was literally getting on my hands and knees before and using a shop vac to clean my place, so this is much better, I’m so happy I can check “quality, easy, affordable vacuum” off my list!

From Marli: I really like the low profile shoe. I have a pair of vintage Onitsuka Tigers that I wore in high school that I’ve worn to the ground – the soles are falling apart completely, even though I’ve super-glued them multiple times. I love them so much and would wear them all the time if I could. I definitely want to pick up another pair at some point, but I got this Pair of Adidas at NordstromAnd they have a similar vibe/silhouette. I love that they give a sporty look even without actual walking/running shoes – but are still very comfortable. I got the yellow color because it was on sale, but I also like it brown colorThe silverand this The colour red It’s also very funny. Adidas definitely runs a wide range – I’m usually between a 9 and 9.5, and I fit comfortably into an 8.5 of these.

Thanks for spending a little time with us today, see you all back here tomorrow. xx
