About Mango Mojito
Mango Mojito is just the fruit version of the classic Mojito drink. Here mango puree is mixed with lemon and mint which gives a refreshing tropical taste. Mango makes the drink naturally sweet and also gives a nice color. This drink looks very tempting when served in clear glasses.
It has a slightly thick texture but is still very light and refreshing. When the crushed ice slowly melts, it mixes well with the mango and lemon juice. Mint gives a cooling sensation which makes this drink perfect for summers. Every sip feels refreshing and is very easy to drink especially on extremely hot afternoons.
You can change this drink in many ways depending on your preference. If you want a little fizz you can add soda water. You can also add more lemon and less mango if you like your drink more spicy than sweet. Anyone can make this drink easily, even if you are a novice in the kitchen.
I usually make this when mangoes are easily available at home. It hardly takes a few minutes and tastes much better than packed juice.

Mango Mojito Ingredients
- Mango – I have used it for natural sweetness and flavour, you can use any sweet mango variety or even canned pulp.
- Sugar – I have used lemon for sweetness and to balance the taste. You can add a little more or less depending on the sweetness of the mango or even use honey.
- ice cubes – I crushed them coarsely and used them to cool the drink well. You can use regular ice cubes but crushed ice works better.
- lemon wedges – They are used for crushing and juicing, it gives freshness and mild spiciness. You can also add lime instead.
- Mint leaves – I have added for taste and cooling effect. It gives good aroma to the drink, avoid using old or withered leaves. I have used mint sprigs mainly for decoration and extra freshness.
- cold water – I mix everything in it and the drink becomes light. You can also use soda water but plain water also tastes good.
