A few weeks ago, I wrote a post on furniture and decor that sounds expensive but is actually surprisingly affordable (all under $500). You all really liked it, so we thought we’d try it as a series and see how it goes. Affordable lighting comes first! Since lamps and light fixtures are almost a love language category of their own (at least for me), I wondered, what better kind of decor to start with? They’re the kind of pieces that aren’t a permanent decision, so you can’t change it easily, but that’s also super functional, acting like a piece of art as well. Basically, lamps are important. Can you tell I like Deepak? I took to the internet to find some really amazing, affordable lighting, in the hopes that if you’re in the market, your search can stop here. Let’s join in…
Affordable lighting: table lamp

Aden Bronze and Black Metal Empire Table Lamp – $119 | Roni Cordless LED Table Lamp – $100
If modern traditional is your style (which I know it is for many of you ;)) any of these are such a win. That all bronze lamp is gorgeous! The finish is darker but still warm and textured, while the overall shape is more modern. It’s architectural but in a really accessible and versatile way. For example, I think it would look great in M’s farmhouse or my Euro-modern apartment. And in fact, the same applies for this cordless cutie. It’s a bit small but can be placed anywhere because, yes, it doesn’t need an outlet nearby. The styling and wood finish are perfectly executed, and that’s why it looks like it could easily be sold for twice as much.

Black Modern Dimmable Lamp – $58 (set of 2)
Stay with this shape! Vintage-inspired, great and very affordable. in Are rechargeable, have 3 light settings, and even come in gold. And if you don’t feel like doing any math, each lamp works out to $29.

ceramic table lamp – $74 | Stoneware Base Lamp – $129
tell me that white ceramic lamp This is not nearly the same as MK’s Navy lamps which cost around $300 (in the same size). The ingredients are different, but for that price, it doesn’t bother me at all. Then The beauty of that brown stoneware Actually from Zara Home. I love it and have seen it selling for at least $300 in any high-end design shop. The proportions are very simple but deliberate, and I love the tonal shade.

Chloe Stoneware Table Lamp – $75 | Cache Tan and Brown Stripe Resin Table Lamp – $150
Why not add a little pattern to the lamp base?? It’s such a great statement piece in a home that tells your guests that you know what’s what when it comes to decor and style. Vertical Stripe and Knife Pleat Shade Lamp It’s neutral in tone but brings texture to the table in the best way. I was shocked when I saw it was only $75. then get a load that wooden striped base And the small ball final! I love it so much, and I’m sure it would look amazing in any style of home. However, I will say that I might change the bright white simple shade to elevate it even more. A shed with a more pronounced taper, a knife pleat shed like other sheds would be great, or even a color if that’s your style. But the premise is perfect. No note.

mushroom table lamp – $55 | Contemporary Rechargeable/Cordless Dimmable Mushroom Table Lamp – $66
i really can’t believe that blue ceramic lamp Is only $55. To say that it looks more expensive than it is would be an understatement. Also, while the blue color is bright, it is not so bright that it cannot easily work with many other colors. This is going to sell out fast. So again, if you don’t know, yellow is a color neutral 🙂 It’s fun too! This super affordable yellow lamp is really giving us that schoolhouse feel, from the color to the amazing shape. 10/10.
Economical Lighting: Floor Lamp

Cream/Brass Hinge Floor Lamp – $100 | FLYGHÖJD Floor Lamp – $70
Now it’s time to move on to floor lamps. I’m the biggest fan of mid-century modern perforated metal lamp shades. So, to find a floor lamp In this style, no less, for just $100. This is not a big deal. But if you are more traditional, Second White and Brass Floor Lamp Pretty simple, pretty and only $70!

black arched floor lamp – $170
We’re all crazy about that rattan floor lamp that Emily used Our Room Service Sofa Shoot From the photo above. This one A little different but equally beautiful! In fact, I think the shade stands out even more and has a little more personality. Such a great piece that will always look good in a room.

Mild Steel Floor Lamp Brass – $75 | Industrial Vintage Gold Floor Lamp – $70
These two floor lamps are also quite classic in style but with slightly more modern lines. Mushrooms have larger shades than lamps This oneBut I like that it’s playing with standard proportions. Then industrial vintage one Very smooth! I love how delicate and thin it is. Just remember that these are task lamps, so the light is directional and won’t flood your room with light, if that’s what you’re looking for.
Affordable Lighting: Wall Sconces

Fraser One Arm Wall Sconce – $99 | Forna 2-Light White Enamel Wall Sconce – $194 | Wall Sconce Metal Ring – $53
It’s wall sconce time! that brass cutie Simple but perfect. It also comes in two other finishes and two other sizes with slightly different pricing. Then White enamel 2-light sconce If I had the perfect space I would put this in my house in a second! It feels vintage and is very sculptural. It’s currently on sale, so I wouldn’t say it’s “affordable” other than that, so if you like it, I would consider purchasing it soon! But metal ring sconces It’s affordable, but also on sale, so $53 is really good. This is another light that I would consider replacing with a less bright white shade to elevate the overall style (although this is not necessary). A patterned one would be cute too!

LALA Reimagined Wood Shaded Sconce Wall Light – $198 | Cherries Wall Sconce – $88
green stained wood It’s so special I can’t stand it. I know almost $200 isn’t cheap, but that kind of size and detail could easily be worth the price. Very More. Even the shadow is to die for! If green isn’t your thing, it also comes in one other color and two natural wood shades. second head Another one that pays attention to details, is unique (which makes it look expensive), and will give a beautiful ambient light to a room or hallway.
Affordable Lighting: Vanity Lights

bevin vanity light – $50 | Marra 3-Light Matte Black Globe Vanity Light – $159
Yes, those prices are real. 2-Light Vanity Light Modern but not in a way that wouldn’t work in a traditional bathroom. It feels refreshing in a very good way, and I love the opal glass which will give off a soft, even light, making doing makeup that much better (no harsh light with bummer shadows). The second, more traditional 3-light beauty Classic and very beautiful. Oh, and the brass is unglazed, so hopefully it can develop a really beautiful patina! It also comes in a black/brass combo! Again, the opal glass is very nice, and while it’s a sale price, the overall price isn’t too steep.
Affordable Lighting: Flush Mount

modern barn ceiling light – $76 | piero flush mount – $179
I’m so glad so many of you liked the updated “Affordable Boob Light” post! And nothing against breasts, but let’s keep them on the body, not on the ceiling. So here are four flushmounts that I think look a lot more expensive than their actual price tags. beginning with that modern barn light. I love enamel light fixtures, opal glass and oversized objects. So this checks all three of those boxes! The bigger glass really elevates it for me. front flush mount This post is on the higher end of the price range, but it’s also great. It had to be included. It’s so tempting I can’t handle it. It has that vintage Euro-modern feeling that I really can’t get past. Oh, and they both come in black too.

bubble led flushmount – $128 | Gold Modern Globe Glass Flush Mount Light – $72
Talking about vintage Euro-modern, this bubble cutie Gives me that feeling too. Since it’s so neutral (I mean, it’s really clear), I think it would be great as a style contrast decor piece. A little fun and excitement to step up your style game. It also comes in a larger size (but it still costs less than $200 :))! Then who doesn’t love a little Art Deco glamour? This brass flush mount Both playful and regal, but not too loud. The price is great, and it also comes in black and silver.
Affordable lighting: chandeliers

Linear chandelier with glass shades – $134 | Candle Style Modern Farmhouse Chandelier – $170
Although I know there are affordable options out there, whenever I think of chandeliers, I immediately think “too expensive.” So to prove it to you and remind you of me, here are four really amazing options that I found! I am shocked at its price this linear chandelier. It is very beautiful and simple and these shades are of glass. I know. If I needed a chandelier, I would probably buy this. Now, This candle-style chandelier This really is a wonderful, versatile option that looks great. Again, simple but really well designed!

Bubble Glass Sputnik Modern Linear Chandelier – $170 | glass globe bubble chandelier – $194
These two are less “simple”, ha, but just as amazing! I was a little surprised at how attracted I was that sputnik chandelier. It’s really attractive and looks much more expensive than $170. This gives almost a version of the old device light? So yes, I’m into it. bubble chandelier Classic and very on trend. So if you want to make a statement and need a great statement chandelier, this is it!
Affordable Lighting: Pendants

Natural Jute Teardrop Collapsible Hanging Lantern – $55 | geometric paper ceiling lamp – $229
Our last affordable lighting category… pendants. A fixture after my own heart, especially fabric ones 🙂 Did you see my love letter to this perfect, versatile classic? There is actually a drop of clothes in the family. Emily found a table lamp that is no longer available, also from World Market, it was in the same material, and we were all amazed that it was so much cheaper! It looked really expensive. so This one That’s the look! People will be shocked when you tell them the price. I believe you need a ceiling hardwire kit This oneBut it’s also really affordable. now I know This geometric paper ceiling lamp Over the $200 limit, but only by a little, and tell me it’s not worth it! What an incredibly nice, unique and special piece that I love so much! If you have this in your house, everyone will come to you for style advice, guaranteed 😉

Benda 1 – Light Dome Pendant – $184
To wrap up this entire affordable lighting post, I leave you with This utilitarian, “Urban Electric-esque” glass and brass pendant. It’s big, really beautiful, and totally reminds me of the (very pricey) pendant in the mountain house’s dining nook. A perfect modern traditional fixture that also comes in black!
So tell me, do you want this series? If so, which category would you like us to tackle next?
I love you, it means it.
