Mango iced tea is a fresh drink made by mixing ripe Mang Puri with ground tea. It sounds like a good change from normal hot tea, during summer time or even with evening snacks. This drink seems fruit and soothing, and it picks up a luxurious when you want something calm and refreshed but not heavy.

The taste is a mixture of sweet mango with light tang with light taste of lemon and tea. It feels light and fresh, not too sugars like bottled juice. Mango iced tea is also good replacement for soft drinks, as it feels the same cool without any gas or chemicals. It looks like a small treatment but is so easy at the same time.

    About mango tea

Mango iced tea or simply mango tea, is quite popular in cafes, but it is very simple and easy to make it at home honestly. Black tea is powered by the base which is later cooled and mixed with mango pulp. The taste is balanced, not excessively sweet and the light bitterness of tea balances the taste of fruits well.

Mango is a great combination of Mango puree with iced tea puree. This drink is very refreshed in summer after the exhaust day especially. I love Iced Lemon Tea And now it is going to my favorite too.

Ripe mangoes without fiber are best for this recipe because they give smooth textures and bright colors. Alphonso works very well, but any sweet variety is fine. By adding lemon juice, giving small tangs tastes which refreshes the drink. The taste is a little stronger than fruits, tangi and tea.

Many small changes are also possible. Some people change the sugar with honey, some leave the sugar if the mango is very sweet. To give more freshness, I like to add mint leaves while chilling. You can also adjust the thickness by changing the volume of the pulp, keeping it thin or thick how you like.

Iced T is a fresh drink for a warm summer day and if you are a common lover then this iced mango tea is a great option. You can make tea decoction in advance for a few days and store in the fridge. Make puree or make lemon tea and serve while serving time.

    Expert tips

    • Tea strength – I boil tea for only 2 minutes. If boiled for a long time, it becomes stronger and is slightly bitter.
    • Cool the decoction – I usually prepare the basis of tea and keep it in the fridge, so it mixes well with mangoes when it is cold.
    • Mango selection – Always use cooked mangoes without fiber. If the mango becomes sour, add excess sugar.
    • Adjust sweetness – You can reduce or add sugar depending on mangoes. Sometimes I also add honey instead of sugar.
    • Serving style – Always serve with a lot of ice cubes and lemon slices, this drink makes fresh and good looks.

    Service and storage

Serve cold tea with ice pieces and a slices of lemon. It goes as well as mid-day coolers or evening drinks with snacks. You can also make it for small gate-leggles as a non-physical cool option. The remaining can be stored in the fridge for a day, but may always be stirred or whiskey before serving as a pulp.

    General question

    1. Can I leave lemon juice?

Yes, you can leave. But lemon gives good taste so I always add.

    2. Do I make without sugar?
