Spoiler Alert: This can only be my favorite project that I have ever done. But before I show you everything, let me back a little and tell you how all this happened. My living room (which was just discovered !!) and the dining room (which is coming soon on the blog!) Opened to each other, and the smack between two places is this coat closet. This is your average closet – really nothing special. It is full of coat, ladder, additional toilet paper, works. Nothing is glamorous and all accessories that need to hide. Super functional, but we have quite large cells and some cabinets in the hallway, so it was not Completely necessary.
Yes, confirmed that this is your average, unorganized coat closet. The living room is on the left, and the dining room is on the right. While it was good to storage extra, and I could just organize this place and left it, there was another issue that I was getting. Our kitchen (Which is very cute and full of vintage tiles) but attractive but SmallLike it barely fits into a small fridge. So we hardly have enough space to store food – but bottles of barware and alcohol ?? forget about it! This was really a disaster when it came to the talk of bar storage, and I was literally desperate to find any solution.

During Kovid, everyone had their small hobbies that they had picked up – whether it was to cook bread, was happening in calligraphy, or what do you have – and it was mine to learn to make craft cocktails. I also like to host, and so I like once a full time so that when people come, I can literally do whatever I want. Negroni? Done. Looks more of a Margharita vibe? coming right up. Oh, do you want a martini? Stir or moved, child? This is the energy when we come over the guests, and hey, it is cheaper than walking out of your neighborhood, so why is the cocktail not encouraged at home?
But yes … is storing a full bar in my ITTY Bitty Kitchen? There was no way. In addition, I hated the thoughts of the people coming to the dinner party, where I am cooking and then everyone pops into a small kitchen to grab a drink. What can I say, I like my place when I am preparing food !! I want my guests to be able to grab a drink, sit on the couch, and if the stove is on fire, do not come near, haha. So I started thinking something … and I thought and I thought at the next and end … Wait, is it a key for a door handle on that coat closet ?? Imagine if that key opened on a little thing …
So I did this exactly …

Chirag , Silhouette art frame , wardrobe
Except I closed the door because it was too much work and not to look at all the time – so I still call it a “closet species”, but it is completely open to someone who walks inside !! Honestly, sometimes I still argue to keep this door back, but we have a cute mirror Outside the door, then it is just a way on the way … see below:

Leather chair , rug , Beverage table , dining chairs , mirror , Dining room rug , Wallpaper , Coffee table , Chandelier
And then now that my living room is over, this is the one that looks just outside the door of the closet! I positioned a DIY bookcase, with which I am completely obsessed. The entire location has been pulled more simultaneously.

Leather chair , rug , Beverage table , Gesture , Silhouette art frame Diy bookcase
This is really humorous because I had this idea to speak the closet and had to do it. I created this closet before I have a real dining table, which is very cheerful and shows suspicious priorities. So yes, this was the first place that I finished in my apartment, and it took only 2 months, but let me tell you that it was definitely more than one thing as I was expecting (this is always, isn’t it?)

Person for scale! hello! My main inspiration was Wine bar in Parker Palm Springs – If you have not gone, it is iconic (moreover, I am very passionate with Parker because it was also a major source of inspiration for my 500 Sqft Studio apartments). It is an ultra sexy, low -roof wine bar that fits for about 20 people, perhaps 30 max. I love intimacy and knew that I can make something similar in this very intimate closet bar, which is 1 or 2 maximum seat if you are playing 7 minutes in heaven.
I always had an intimacy for high glow, lacquer walls, and I knew that this small space was going to be the best way to feel big and to bounce light around. So I started experimenting with methods that I can make that look, knowing well that it is not a tenant-friendly, easy or inexpensive solution. Vinyl is a ton of peel-end-stick wallpaper options, but they are not super wide. I felt that Seem could make the space cheaper, so I finished the search A patent leather cloth And taking it to the walls (and then I covered the staple trim So it is super seamless). I ordered 8.5 yards as I initially did the door, and the total was $ 250 for all clothes. $ 30 In a yard, it was very cheap, looks super high end, and a lot of wallpaper beats pricing, let me know! The staple will be one thing to get out, but not impossible, and honestly, I suspect that I am going to take it down. The next tenant will probably be pumped for this time, so I’m definitely going to try to leave it if I can! Surprisingly, however, everything here can be removed with almost no harm to the closet. I also kept the rod, so I can keep it back Closive rod socket Like it was never touched.
Okay, wait enough, let’s take you deeply in this cell, we will do it ??

Therefore, as I have briefly mentioned above, we cut the closet rod in about 5 seconds with this powerful tool my lover, Austin. Then we proceeded to put in cold storage (which I have never done before, but due to all bottles it needs to be helpful and as it will remain here). We used these purposely ugly but Super assistant brackets To catch the back of books (I covered most of them with mirror backplash, but you can see a little of them on the bottom of the top shelf – we photoshopped them in some photos, but look at the photo below where I left them), and then we used us These beautiful wood brackets To support the front of the shelves.
I got perfect Wood Cocktail Glass Holder The bottom of this shelf and painted for the patent leather walls depicted a colorful red color. I am very passionate with the look, especially the way the bracket frames these glasses. I love some glass -made substances, so it was honestly important for storage purposes!
And then I also added Battery -powered LED light strips For shelves and These acrylic cabinets To uplift the bottles and through light glow – there was no light in the closet, so it created a big difference!

Above this shot is the only one where you can see the roof – which is really where my parker palm springs wine bar inspo is the most showed! I ordered 9 These tiles And then hung them with command strips and they are a dream! They actually make full space.

Okay, let’s talk about the mirror backplash! I was ordering real ancient mirrors, but let me tell you – they spend a lot of money. I really wanted to save on the backplash because I was not taking this place with me, so I found This mirror In a packet of 12 for $ 25. I ordered two packs and some spray paint and found to work! I followed Loan Fox Home Technology (Go for 12 minutes in the video!) Which is the layer This spray paintThen it And itAnd then the slap Alcohol inkAnd it really worked well, but I overshadowed it a little, so I used nail polish remover and to bring back some reflection and I love how it turned out. Okay, now it’s time for cabinet saga…

wardrobe , Wine fridge , Wine Glass Cubbi
Well, it was very cheerful to get this cabinet here. Let me explain So i found This grand Berlwood Cabinet This was the exact width of this closet, and since it was from the home depot, I was like that … it would definitely come into pieces and I will install it inside the closet when it shows it, and it would be perfect. Well, it certainly did not come into pieces – it came. And she was solid. But I was firm to separate this bad boy and bring it to the closet. So I listed Austin to arrive and helped me cut it with some fancy power tools (I am dating amazing, BTW). You guys, this does not move. We could take out every screw, which we could find, hacked it with a saw, nothing else. For two straight days, I tried to separate it, and everyone started thinking that I was crazy. The definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting different results, and I was definitely at that point until I took directly with one hand on the side of the wood and took this thing in two (cleaning and well, though). It was really crazy. But this man fits perfectly here that I assured it from inside and put it inside so that it is completely tight and safe. As if this thing is not going anywhere, and you will never know what I had to do to do this work. Therefore, if you are in the market for a Berlwood Cabinet, which is high quality at an affordable price point, then I can advise This oneBreaking or ripping lol is almost impossible.
And then you haven’t noticed you … I’m a little extra … so obviously I put it A wine fridge Here in (duh!) It took it forever to find one that was quite small to fit – and it was still a little too deep, so I took behind the cabinet and then pulled it an inch from the wall (See hereI ran an extension cord on the left side of Speaksi and portrayed the cord cover to match, so you do not even notice that it is there.
Oh, and then I have another bonus image for you !! The lamp you are watching is in all the pictures A vintage lamp I got for $ 10, which was total theft. I was presenting my dream Louis Paulson PH Lamp (Which is one of the best things to happen to me), so I tried it here and I love it. I was here for a little and then placed it on the piano in my living room because I think it’s a little longer for this place ?? Comment on your thoughts which lamp you like more and if the door should be turned on or closed 🙂

So this is how the closet speaks everything went down. Kinda Crazy … I know. I do not work half-hearted, so here we are …

Thanks for reading and following together. If you want me to keep this closet together (including separation of the cabinet with my bare hands), you can check out part One, part TwoAnd Part three On my Instagram. I will see again in the comments!
