May Martha Stewart rolled in her horticulture bed (have you seen her recently? The woman looks incredible). Most stylists are very anti-fox plants, flowers, and branches, because the real accessories are so beautiful, more organic/fine/specialized, etc. Then there is a full plastic issue with fake flowers, which is not terrible, and of course, dust, listening to the 90s era and the common crook of styling and decorations. Martha is not approved, at least to say.
So, why change? Why now?
Well, a few weeks later I styled/shot my brother’s house for a big disclosure (was coming so soon!) I went to his house, and all the real beautiful summer branches were either dead or vases were empty. Once beautiful vignates looked unhappy, and then I became sad. But I know my brother and Katie and knew that they need my help: not only do they want to look right everything according to their sister’s request, but they are not sure what to clip, what to buy, what to buy, what is good, what kind of vase, etc. and clearly, a bad real flower system is even worse than my snobberry arrangements for my snowberry).
My normal ethos as a designer is to build houses that reduce people’s stress, do not add it, so I offered them to take them out and buy them impure flowers/branches. He said yes (with relief). What we found blew us (it is no longer of the 90s).
And listen, while it is not my point at my house, I recognize that I get enough privilege to live on a property with a ton real flowers and trees just outside my door, and AheadI really like to clip and arrange flowers and branches around my house. This is very easy for me (lol … like 20 years of experience – women need to stop saying that things are easy when we are actually efficient with hard work for decades). But not everyone is in my position, and you can’t be unhappy, dead branches, empty vases, random flowers from the grocery store, or worse – really ugly fake flowers. My brother’s new impure summer branches that we bought and arranged, looked incredibly real … until it fell and “Queen Anne’s lace” and “cherry blossom” became fantastically fake (for me) because those flowers may not be present in September (this is important for the impure branch program-the flowers look extra fake). Therefore, in the name of ensuring their home, that I worked so hard for 4 years, look beautiful throughout the year, in every season, I offered to switch to the summer “branches” to fall again, and once again, after a ton shopping, we find some fantastic. I think I put the last nail in my career coffin to work for Martha, but we go here.

These were the best best (we bought a lot). Why these tasks are in the tone of flowers/leaf (ie, not bright green and not shiny) and the size of the stem (I have arranged all the stems “random” like organic and “random”). I tried to hide the edge of some green leaves (which gives it away). It also does not hurt that all vases are very good.
My favorite impure flowers – what started this whole thing

Look at those beautiful flowers on the coffee table? All of them spewed all this. They look incredibly real and reconsider me to the entire category (and my snowberry). We did not take a full shot (we came back after weeks after revealing, but I never resumed the coffee table with fake goods).

But here they are – And the way they flops and styles actually help them look even more real. The dark, dark color is really beautiful and subtle, with some color variation but not too much. I really feel that all these are suitable for four seasons, and they styles so easily in a vase.

Impure autumn Vase (unavailable)
in They were very beautiful (and big) and flopped completely to look so real and dramatic. An entry table or somewhere you need height and quantity.

We shop in target, world market, crate and barrel, West Elm and CB2, and the crate was best (but the most expensive, of course).

We keep in In their mudrooms (not taken a picture, sorry), and they looked very real. Green with a sign of “bend” to red.

Inaccurate eucalyptus stem , Vase
in Just look really real, they are out everywhere, and since the eucalyptus is really well dried, you can get away with them in a beautiful vase for months while looking real.

Their powder in the bathroom, we put These sweet little dark red sedomsThe powder bath is the only bathroom that I constantly ensure that fresh sprigs are really because people see it, so I am not going to lie that I entice a little to do so.

in More spindly branches work so well here – it picks up the painting on gold and burgundy (oh !!! Peak secretly peak of dining room styling !!!). They were strangely expensive, and they require a large bulbus vase to offset the spindly-n or, not a long thin vase).

These peopleFrom the goal, excellent (shout to Jona Gens). The most budget -friendly and group (10/10) so far is also excellent. The color is perfect, and nothing about them looks fake, even close.

Another fantastic Falling branch It looks so real. I think it is easier to execute branches compared to flowers in the impure department, FYI. They work so well in most rooms.

Fixed Japanese Maple Stem , Vase (Similar)
in Wild japanese maple Was actually executed well. With color variation in leaves and organic shapes of stems.

Now, I think I could style in A little better (we were in a big hurry, TBH) and they are very straight and outside, but I still think they are great and they are living there forever 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

in There are huge oversize eucalyptus that we thought that can work at home, but they require either a huge entry table or a credenza against a wall (very large for a dining table). But they were very real looking with a good tone.

So you have this – never says that never learn, right? So again, if you get pleasure from shopping for clipping or seasonal greens, let’s stick to the real deal. But you are not alone if you are a really good impure version you love your home more and make your life easier. I hope some of these help
