about mango juice
Homemade mango juice is the best as it is juicy, sweet, thick and without any preservatives. In stores they make mango juice and store it with loaded sugar and preservatives for at least a week, so that it does not taste fresh.
I used to love the mango juice I got from the local vegetable and fruit shop, until I started making fresh mango juice at home. Mango season is going on so make the best use of it by making fresh and juicy mango juice.
Mangoes sometimes do not taste sweet when eaten. So in such a situation, mango milkshake and mango juice will be my first choice. You can also make homemade Mango Frooti or Mango Lassi.
Homemade mango juice is always made fresh and tastes best when drunk immediately. Moreover, you also have the freedom to adjust the consistency of the juice to make it thick and pulpy or slightly liquid. Apart from this, you can also choose the variety of mango as per your choice.
Although Alphonso mango tastes best for mango juice, you can also use Banganapalli or Neelam mango as per your preference.

Mango – how to store?
As we all know that mangoes are seasonal and it tastes good only when it is in season. But mango can be preserved and eaten throughout the year. Mangoes can be kept in the refrigerator for a short period of time, such as about 2 weeks. But if you want to store it for a long time then you can adopt one of the methods given below:
- Cut the mangoes into cubes, put in a clean zip lock bag or dry container and freeze. It can be stored and used for about 6 months.
- Make mango puree without adding water, then put in a tall container and add layers of sugar alternately, like first add a layer of mango pulp, then add a tablespoon of sugar and then add a layer of mango in the same manner. It can be kept safe for about a year.
- – Make mango puree without adding water and put it in an ice cube tray and freeze it. It can be stored and used for about 6 months.

Mango juice 2 ways
- Mango Juice (Classic Version) – Classic Mango Juice uses only mango, sugar and water, without any other ingredients, with the purest taste of mango with a little sugar. For this I used Alphonso mango.
- Mango juice (with vegetable seeds) – The addition of sabja seeds makes this version taste similar to classic mango juice. Sabja seeds have no flavor of their own but it gives texture to the juice. Sabja seeds are great as a natural body coolant so when mixed with mango juice helps maintain balance. For this I used Banganapalli mango.
