1. Mix all the ingredients listed under ‘For the marinade’ well.

2.Let it rest for at least 2 hours – the more resting time the more tender the Chicken 65 will be. Then heat oil in a pan and fry curry leaves and green chillies till they become crisp and keep aside. Then add the chicken pieces in batches and fry them well.

3. Deep fry them until they become crisp and golden brown. Garnish with fried curry leaves and green chillies.

Serve with raw onion slices and lemon wedges as a starter.

- Marinade timing is very important to get juicy soft chicken 65. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Do not over fry it as it will become hard and rubbery.
- You can also include small chopped pieces of ginger and garlic along with the tadka ingredients.
