First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day!! If you are a mother, we hope this day is filled with lots of love and appreciation for everything you do. If you are remembering your mother, we also want to honor you. This day really does bring a lot, both good and hard, so be kind to yourself no matter what emotions you’re feeling. And if a part of that sweetness is reading this link, we are very grateful and hope it brings a smile to your face. Let’s dive in <3

This week’s home tour It was designed by none other than Tali Roth. It’s bold in its Milanese inspiration, but also warm and very pretty. Come see!

From Emily: I have fantastic news in the underwear department – I’ve found two of my new favorite pairs (my daytime thong and my nighttime full coverage) and just bought 6 of them each because my previous list was in disarray. These are invisibly very soft (and invisible under pants!), and I’ve been testing these for 4 months (not straight) and can say they still aren’t falling down or tearing or anything. You see, I used to have a favorite pair of underwear (from Jockey, no less), but they changed the “recipe” a bit (okay, but not as good), and still, they always sell out. So I’ve been buying from Target or Old Navy, just like you would buy cheap underwear anywhere, but have been extremely unhappy with every pair. So a few months ago I bought a few pairs from Aerie and loved them, so after a particularly frustrating underwear week, where no matter how much I searched my drawers, I couldn’t find any that were comfortable, I decided to remove all the old ones and buy 6 more pairs of each – 18 brand new pairs of underwear (bundle them up to save!). I also tested two different sizes (both small and medium) and two different models of thongs. Historically, I’ve always sized up to make sure they don’t get cut off, but the cheap ones can fall apart if they’re too big. So while smalls fit, I prefer mediums in all styles (they still exist, but it feels like there’s nothing there). I only bought nude and black – to streamline my life. i bought this model Naked for my daytime thong (same in black), and I fell in love this model (in the naked state) for light clothing, and this black model For night time. Size up if you want them to never pay attention to your body. A trick to saving a lot of money is to make a “bundle” (so 6 of each). Now, if you want your underwear to be comfortable, stick to your normal size – they really don’t cut at all. I just have sensory things where I don’t even want to feel them. It’s been a journey – I’m so glad to have been here for so long to share what I’ve learned 🙂

    This week on Instagram!

From Mallory: I’m going to a tropical destination wedding this month and wanted to pick up some items that were fun and summery for our trip – you already know we love Etsy here (because who doesn’t love supporting small businesses?), so I went to their site and found the cutest little statement necklace! I’m loving the pearl necklace trend, but I wanted something that felt nautical and had a fun charm, but wasn’t overwhelming – ok, This little wavy fish is the charm Really checked those boxes for me, haha. If you’re looking for some fun summer statement necklaces, check this out, or just let this be your reminder to shop Etsy!

From Arlin: You know what’s frustrating? Going into a new home shower and realizing that the water pressure is not where desired. but then! You delve deep into the mind of the internet to find something to help, and you actually buy something you’re happy with. What an achievement! Anyway, this is my shower head story. We had one of the cheap, plastic handheld shower heads with a few settings, all of which are bad. Why have multiple settings if each of them is worse than the next? If you haven’t heard hammer headIt’s time to listen up because they’re all made from metal and are extremely affordable for the quality, and yes, they can change your bathing experience. I could barely wash the conditioner out of my head before, and now that’s just not possible. I’m not one to dance between settings, so we chose this 1-Spray modelBut there is a 3-spray model, a rain shower version, a dual version, and a few others. I highly recommend it if you’re also struggling with water pressure, especially right now while the entire site is on sale.

From Caitlin: This is for my fellow history and political buffs – I recently saw a copy of The lost history of liberalism: from ancient Rome to the twenty-first century. From my local library (shout out) libby app – It must be!) And I found this really thrilling and enlightening – I was really surprised to learn that this principle historically refers to creating ideal religious citizens who value charity, generosity, and morality. The author, Helena Rosenblatt, traces liberalism from ancient Greece to the French Revolution to today, and it’s really interesting how things have progressed and changed over the centuries! Added bonus: If you want to learn about the history of liberalism through headphones, Helena was a guest on Ezra Klein’s podcast this week. It’s really interesting, I promise!!!

From Marlee: I was on Anthro’s site, seeing if there was anything I wanted to use M’s 20% off code for (EMILYH20, expires today, May 10th!!!) and I realized there are several products I love that the code works on! Let me tell you: I love this foul smell So much – I’ve repurchased it many times in many fragrances, but the neroli and basil really take the cake. i love them too body wash (Don’t use it every day, I save it for the shower where I want to feel fabulous ;)). this is one like this delicious aroma – I’m not really sure how to describe it. It’s a little fleshy, but also has a very sweet smell. This is definitely a unisex scent, and I know a lot of people who use it too – “You’re wearing Deadcool perfume, right” is a common phrase among my friends. is also a big fan of Supergoop tinted sunscreen. It gives you a great glow!

From Gretchen: I made a very stupid purchase this week, but I’ll share it with you anyway… I don’t know if this happens to you, but often when I’m marketing on Instagram, the algorithm gods show me the cutest clothes, but once I fall for the trick and click on them, only then do I realize it’s a shirt made for babies/toddlers. Cold. Old Navy sucked me the same way with this perfect 1994 (my birth year) red boys jersey. But jokes on them because I went ahead and ordered an XXL and it fits like a medium/large. score! I bought it on a 50% off sale (they always have a deal going on) and I was happy to see that the numbers were stitched on instead of printed.

While we were hanging out this week, Marley noticed that Nordstrom There were some really great things on sale (including M’s favorite pair of shorts :))

Claire V.’s Petite Moyen Woven Messenger Bag (Now: $298, Was: $425)

EHD has a long-standing crush on Claire V. Their bags and accessories are the best! But they’re not cheap 🙂 We love fun but they’re versatile this bag There are more colorways, and although the price is still not the most affordable, the discount is worth it if you’re on a budget.

For shoes, M has these sneakers In bronze/crystal sky/orange and she just wrote about them in her review of her flats! these leather flats So cute and really versatile. A great professional flat 🙂

From Jess: Emily and I are both interested in this Aritzia And much more and I actually love the clothes! This past weekend, I was at the mall and stopped into the store because I was looking for some more casual, everyday tops. I prefer more fitted T-shirts, and it got me It’s amazing. So soft, perfect stretch, and the one I bought has a gray and white stripe on both sides (H Chrome/Multi) which makes it a little more interesting. Oh, it’s also long, so I can confidently wear it with my mid-rise and lower-rise jeans 🙂 Not to mention, it’s only $28. I also bought this top And This one!
