It seems the whole world is “curious”, and I’ve got lots of answers. But I protested at first. Their “affordable yet high quality” advertising seemed too good to be true. I was also a little skeptical of some of the designs that seemed too “inspired” by other companies (looking at you, Folk Art Blankets, ahem). But the price point and claims of high-quality materials and good construction were hard to resist. Can this be possible? Once I got my first two pieces (blue suede cross-body bag And bella jeans), I was like, hey, okay Quince, I see you. But her fashion is very basic! Nothing is very fashion-forward, the styling is non-existent, and I wondered if their models were AI. I had no idea whether their clothes would look good on a non-model body. Surely for this price, the stitching sucks, right? But there’s no way to tell until you try, so I started ordering a few pieces, and at this point, I have enough to show you a solid review.
Quince Fashion Review: The Bella Jeans

Sweater | jeans | belt | bag | sandals
I just got this last week, Bella Wide Leg Stretch In dull black colour. Oh boy. Really excellent. Higher waist than I usually like, and yet somehow still attractive. The cut is slimming, and they have a great length (also comes in short). The whole team was like, yes, they’re great. don’t get me started cardigan sweater (reviewed below). This is also 10/10.

original fiddle straight leg I tried it for the first time, and the washing and cutting is fantastic. I’m still praying for a mid-rise version (these are high-rise), but otherwise, for $50, they’re hard to beat.

This is Bella Wide Legs in a Nutshell. The wash is really good, the color is great. The cut, seams and stitching are excellent. I wish they made these in mid-rise for us smaller torso ladies, but otherwise they’re really nice. For example, unlike truly structured Levi’s, these tend to have stretch in the waist, which can be a good thing (comfy) and a bad thing (your burrito might show after lunch). Sweater reviews are also below (fantastic) ballet flatsAnd Almond Loafers. Oh and linen shirt Really good and washes well, but not that good J.Crew Linen Shirt. It is more fitted and longer, making for a more comfortable cut. If you want a more loose, 1/2 tuck linen shirt look, the J.Crew one is better. But if you want something more fitted and more affordable, this is actually great.
Quince Fashion Review: Non-Jeans Pants

button down | pants | flats
These cropped stretch pants The front pockets are exceptional. They have the look of “slacks” and are perfect for a professional environment, but they are also extremely comfortable and great “sitting down pants” for hours on end. Laugh out loud. 10/10

Left: shirt + scarf (similar) + bag (not available) + sunglasses + pants + belt + loafers | Correct: Cap | scarf | cardigan | pants | Shoes
these joggers They are so good that I bought them in two colors – dark green and navy. Please note slight differences in size. The green ones are a medium and have a little room, while the navy is more of a fit. And yet both are extremely comfortable because the fabric is thick, high quality, and flexible. However, these are not lightweight summer pants (they are thick). With the right jacket, they’re perfect for work, but perfect for the city as weekend pants. They are very flattering and versatile. Furthermore, he is a quince cardigan (And Huaraches!) on the right.
Quince Fashion Review: Best Linen Pants

Left: cardigan + pants + Shoes | Correct: Cap | scarf | shirt | bag | pants | Shoes
I liked almost all of the pants I bought, but these are linen pants I think I’m going to stay this summer. The front pockets are adorable, they drape really well and are cut at the ankle (some others are this big!). The elastic waistband is thick but doesn’t cut in, just sits at your waist, God bless it. True to size (I’m wearing a small in navy and a medium in the light color, which I swapped out for a small).
How are they after washing??
Even better. I was worried that these were great “fresh” pants, but after washing they would shrink, warp, lose their fabric, or become so wrinkled that I would never wear them. No. They turned out to be totally soft and smooth, as they claim to be as high-end linens. I’m honestly thrilled and am going to order another pair if they sell out ($42 guys!!).

scarf | sunglasses | cardigan | pants | Shoes
Luxurious, soft, smooth and sits well on the hips without cutting into them. They don’t have this color anymore, but oh my god, navy blue There are even better ones. Perfect weekend cargo pant, very comfortable, not stiff and canvas. I love them so much.

These are more useful pants Which I find myself wearing around town/home and in casual styles. The material is thin, light, but structured – it doesn’t drape at all and holds its shape but doesn’t hold its wrinkles (in a good way). I think they might actually be the best hiking pants? After washing, they were perfect.

jacket | shirt | pants | belt | shoes (old)
These are great, great pleated linen pants. These are longer (great with heels or a lay ’em puddle) and higher waisted than the others (I liked them but I came back because I don’t have an office job). Great for summer work pants in a professional environment (so light but with pleating and buttons/zipper so it looks like real slacks!).

I really liked These wide-leg linen pants Also, and they are a favorite (I just prefer the skinny ones). I am wearing a 26″ inseam (low high waist). They’re great, and I love the crop. I think these are a little more dressy than my skinny front pocket version, so you can more easily wear these to the office, but let’s be clear – these are weekend pants with a capital W.
Quince Fashion Review: Sweaters and Coats

Sweater | jeans | belt | bag | sandals
His weaving is extraordinary. It was an enthusiastic “Hell Yes” when I put it on. this cardigan But (my rule is that if it’s not “absolutely yes”, it’s “no”, we don’t have “I think so” anymore). The weave feels heavy and yet tight – like it’s never going to snag or fall off. “It’s just a navy cardigan,” you say, yes, but the shape (boxy, with slightly cropped shoulders, and a waist that comes in a little snug) and the buttons (tortoiseshell) make it extremely expensive and totally classic. Perfect for layering over t-shirts or button-ups (too thick to layer under most jackets). And god, it has really nice weight to it. I also bought it in oatmeal. that belt The bag is also Quince and is very high quality and looks really expensive (ie, Claire V, but no).

Another absolutely solid option That will last forever. I love the shape of the crewneck, where it lands (right at the waist, not too high cut, but not bulky, and too long) and has a sloping shoulder. It is very well made and has a great size too. At J.Crew it will be $200. I also bought it in brown for fall.

layer | button down + Jeans + loafers
this jacket Very cute, feels high quality, and I love the plaid inside. But its shape seemed strange to me. It felt a little comfortable in my arm/chest (size small), and I’m only wearing a button-up underneath it, but I’m afraid sizing up the rest of it would be really bulky (unless you like larger sizes, which I don’t think I do in this case). I guess if you had a smaller frame on top, it could be good, but I found it felt a bit stuffy.

ditch this The coat I returned immediately for the same reason – the stitching was too good, and it felt like a lot of fabric, not enough structure. Trench coats (actually all coats) need structured shoulders to create a good shape when draping. Neither of these did IMHO.
Quince Fashion Review: Shoes

Left: Leather Hand-Woven Square Toe Ballet Flat | Correct: Leather Huarache Flats
I reviewed “casual spring shoe” and covered a lot of shoes (see here). They were all high quality, with good leather, good stitching and soft footbeds. huaraches There were a lot of big winners, but honestly they were all great (I didn’t like the elastic in the back in). I can’t believe how comfortable those huaraches are. They have a soft bed on the heel to provide comfort and prevent blisters.

ballet flats Very cute and were the only ones I was worried would last for years because of how fragile they are. I have worn these a lot since I got them and there hasn’t been a single scratch yet. Very beautiful.

Left: suede loafers | Correct: leather loafers
I tried two loafers and loved them brown color On the left. They were both high quality and comfortable, with good stitching and wooden heels, but I didn’t like the elastic at the back of the heel brown skinned.
Overall, the quality there is 100%. Some pieces are less tailored than I expected (jackets), and a lot of the pieces on their site don’t have the most design-forward colors or patterns. But in general these are high quality and I feel extremely comfortable recommending them for long-term wear. No landfill required.
*PS, we’ve also thought about reviewing Quins Home, but we can’t actually buy the rugs and sofas and send them back. For the most part, their home goods look great and are well-reviewed, but they are still quite expensive. Furniture and decor have much lower profit margins than fashion (I know this from our sofa line, trust me, the margins are much smaller).
