Wayfair Memorial Day Sale with some fun updates in my yard

Sunny temperatures for 14 consecutive days, averaging 74 degrees, summer as Christmas has arrived early in the Pacific Northwest, and BBQ season is already in full swing. We’ve got a few end-of-the-year parties planned, including a belated Mother’s Day/Dad’s birthday family gathering this Sunday, and I’m happy to say I’ve finally actually gotten my group’s entertaining prep protocol down. I’m going to write a whole post about how I do it where I Still totally enjoying, but today I wanted to show you some updates we made and highlight a lot of the cool outdoor entertaining pieces that are available. my new teak coffee table

I’m quickly learning that teak is the only wood species that can survive rain without caking or caking, so I ordered this coffee table It will eventually turn gray to match our sectional And chaise lounge chairs.

we have teak sectional for a few years, and it turned nicely white (which is typical of teak), and I stole that wicker resin chair From my brother because two non-teak wood chairs are in less than good condition after being left in the rain two winters in a row (thus my search for furniture I can leave in the PNW).

this table It’s extremely sturdy and well made, and really complements this vignette. Now there are other species that can last outside, of course, they just need to be covered or kept under a roof, but teak is one that can last (especially if you keep it oiled). I also just purchased two more outdoor rechargeable/solar lamps (no more candles, guys). leather lantern The chair next to it is solar powered and it creates the most beautiful patterns on the floor. Great ambiance (would be great for the stairs). Wicker Lamp Are very heavy and come in a set of two. They’re expensive, so it would be great to snag one on sale, but we’ve included others that are great and on sale.

my chaise loungers

my chaise lounge chairs These are from Neighbor, which Wayfair also sells, and I love them. I bring the cushions (of all furniture) into the garage for the winter, and the teak probably needs oiling, but they are fabulous.

These are our floater chairs – They rotate depending on where we are entertaining. Hot Tip: Resin wicker appears to be fairly indestructible for those of us who want long-lasting outdoor furniture that doesn’t need to be moved or covered inside. I often leave them on the grass because they aren’t solid, so they don’t leave marks.

in Are light weight and easy to carry, and look great from the outside. They still look brand new (we’ve removed the cushions that came with them).

a great outdoors bar cart (our drink station)

we have this bar cart From Wayfair for a few years (left outside most of the time, which isn’t ideal), and it’s still in good condition. We use it for kids’ drinks when we have larger gatherings and it works perfectly. Then we fill the large drink dispenser with water for everyone pitchers Usually have Crystal Light or pink lemonade. PS I put the drink dispenser on a plant stand to lift it up and make it easier to place a glass under it 🙂
